What It Means to Abide
Scripture: “Abide in Me, and I in you…” — John 15:4
Introduction
To abide means to remain connected to Christ in a daily, personal relationship. Just as a branch depends on the vine for life, we depend on Jesus for strength, wisdom, and spiritual growth.
How Do We Abide?
- Spend time in God’s Word.
- Pray consistently.
- Walk in obedience.
- Stay connected to Christian fellowship.
As we abide in Christ, He shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and enables us to bear fruit that glorifies God.
Prayer
Father, help me to remain rooted in You each day. Teach me to seek Your presence, obey Your Word, and grow in faith so that my life will bear fruit for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
